Hello.

My name is Taliyn. You can call me Taliyn, Tali, or Tay.

My pronouns are she/her.

I am demi, bi, and monogomous.

I am neurosparkly – AuDHD present among other things. Anxiety and depression are constant battles I fight, but so far I am winning the war (sometimes just out of spice, but it gets you through).

Ask me to choose a favorite of something and you will get a list – I just can’t decide.

…a gamer – PS5, Switch, and PC currently but have many different systems. Diablo, Lego games, Zelda, Animal Crossing, Call of Duty, GTA5, Roller Coaster Tycoon/Zoo Tycoon, Unpacking, and Age of Empires are some of my favorites/addictions.

…reader – I have always loved books but it has been so hard to sit and read for many years. Audiobooks are an amazing solution. I can enjoy books from the library or my personal collection when I can’t otherwise focus. I mostly prefer fiction – fantasy, thriller, adventure, young adult – but have been getting more into non-fiction books as well. Books about the brain, trauma, personal experiences, explaining different concepts/ideas, biographies…

…writer – fantasy adventure stories, short stories, reflections, reviews, critiques, directives, ponderings…

…singer/music listener – sometimes you just need to blast the music and shout-sing at the top of your lungs and sometimes you need a soothing backdrop to relax. Rock, punk, emo, classical, soundtracks, musicals, contemporary, rap, country…

…crafter – graphite drawing, acrylic painting, signs/decor, felting, sewn felt designs, paper crafts, coloring, building…

…movie/tv watcher – a little bit of everything to fit any mood. My comfort movies are The Mummy, Kate & Leopold, Enola Holmes, Jurassic Park, Newsies, and How to Train Your Dragon.

More random things – Llamas, dragons, Eeyore, snowflakes, unicorns, soft and cuddly things, shiny sparkly rainbows and dark, dreary rainstorms. Picture the grim reaper on a llamacorn and you get my drift.

Punctuation – hyphens and parentheses are great but nothing beats ellipses.
