Black Sheep Brainchild

I just purged a huge Rubbermaid bin of old cds. So much of that triggering music and what I can’t listen to anymore – both because I can’t support what the artists or their world is doing and/or the topics…I just feel…wrong…with so much of it. Carmen, Michael w Smith, reliant k, skillet, hawk Nelson, point of grace, Chris Tomlin, etc.

I started going through the discs because some was Disney music, soundtracks, or instrumentals and dropping the NO into the once empty bin. 

CRACK! SNAP!

“This one does NOT spark joy!” THWACK!

The sound of the cases hitting each other, the little ends of the cover flinging…so satisfying.

I feel accomplished and one more weight lifted off.
