What principles define how I live? Everyone deserves love. Everyone deserves safety and happiness. Until the barries society presents to those who are different – in race, sexual orientation, gender presentation, ethnicity, socioeconomic status, ability…all difference where people are “othered” instead of celebrated – then there is work to do. We should pursue that justice and equality, we should chase what gives us peace. We must come alongside our neighbor, celebrate and embrace what makes us unique, and let each other live without fear of being harmed or killed just because they are “different”.
